Esta semana descubrí a través del blog THE STYLE FILES un PROYECTO ESTUPENDO para hacer en un fín de semana largo como este. Marion, del blog THE MARION HOUSE BOOK, transformó unas viejas cestas y les dió una nueva vida con un diseño muy actual inspirado en las cestas SENEGALESAS. Pintó unas simples cestas con colores y diseños de estilo étnico, a juego con otros elementos decorativos de estilo similar que ella ya tenía en casa.
Pensé que este podría ser un estupendo proyecto para este fin de semana de puente, y una manera muy fácil de personalizar y dar un nuevo carácter a unas simples cestas.

Though THE STYLE FILES blog I found this week this GREAT DIY PROJECT that Marion, from THE MARION HOUSE BOOK, published in her blog a few weeks ago. She bought some plain baskets and designed a pattern and colour combination inspired by the SENEGALESE and GHANAIAN baskets that employ a lot of colour and pattern in their design. She then painted the baskets in these chosen colours and designs matching them with other accessories in a similar style that she had at home.
I thought that could be a great project for this weekend and also an easy way to personalise some old baskets and give them a new life!
