Llevo un tiempo buscando un mesa para mi nuevo salón, y no es tarea fácil. La primera decisión que he tenido que tomar es si debe ser rectangular o redonda. Que levante la mano quien prefiera rectangular! Sí, lo sé, casi todo el mundo opta por las mesas rectangulares, pero vivo en un piso de 80 metros y mi salón no es tan amplio. Así que me he decido por una mesa redonda. Ahora bien, ¿de que material?

Como mis suelos son de madera natural he pensado que debería evitar poner muebles de madera y debería buscar otros materiales para combinar. Una mesa de cristal quedaría mejor. Y así ha sido como he llegado a la conclusión de que una réplica de Warren Platner sería una opción estupenda.

I've been looking for a dining table for my new flat since some time ago and it's not easy at all. The first decision made was rectangular or round table. Raise your hand if you like the rectangular design! Yes, I know, almost everybody prefer the rectangular tables, but my flat is only 80 square metres and my dining area is quite small. So I decided to go with a round table. Now, what material?

I have natural timber floors, so I thought I should avoid more timber furniture and use other materials to find a big of contrast in the room. A glass table would be a good option. And that is how I got the conclusion that a Warren Platner's replica would be a great option.

No quiero poner las sillas a juego, quiero combinar la mesa con otro tipo de sillas ¿pero qué sillas le pegan? ¿Alguien tiene alguna idea? Necesito ayuda!

This table was designed in 1966 and it became one of the icons in modern design. This table has a light design that will help to make space visually wider. Also it has a lounge collection with armchairs, coffee table and little tables to combine. But, I don't know, I can't make my mind, how do I integrate a design piece with the rest of the decoration in my house? I don't want to use the other Warren Platner armchairs, I want to combine this table with different kinds of chairs, but what kind of chairs match with this design? Anybody has any idea? I need help!
