EN | Just by looking at the interior of this sensational summer house, no one could tell that it was a old barn long time ago. However, its facade tells a different story, as it still has a beautiful rustic look. In spite of its humble past, this house is located in one of the most expensive residential areas in the US: the Hamptons. But this gorgeous house doesn't feel intimidated by the exuberant properties in this worthy area.
However, this summer house doesn't look like a typical house in the Hamptons, but it's more like a winter retreat somewhere in Europe. The house is warm and cosy with wooden floors, walls and ceilings, and fireplaces in almost every room. The beautiful diagonal tiled floor is a great way to incorporate design at a low cost.
This house has been feature this month by ARCHITECTURAL DIGEST magazine and it's today the 'house of the week' in ChicDecó.
