Al otro lado de la isla grandes ventanales conectan el jardín con la cocina.</span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-small;">EN</span> | <i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #666666;">One of the most <b>trendy kitchen layouts</b> that I've been finding quite often in national and international magazines are those that have its cooking and washing space on a island in the middle of the kitchen. Wall are only used for storage cabinets, from the floor to the ceiling, or to locate wide windows and connect the indoor and outdoor space. This layout makes easier to work and talk to other family members at the same time without having to cook against the wall. This kitchen that today I'm bring to my blog, featured recently by <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-small;"><a href="http://www.elmueble.com/articulo/cocinas_y_banos/6089/una_cocina_practica_bien_equipada.html#" target="_blank">EL MUEBLE </a></span>magazine, is a beautiful example of this modern kitchen layout.</span></i><br /><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #666666;"><br /></span></i><i><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #666666;">The kitchen was divided in two areas, one to work and the other one for family meals. The island in the middle is a comfortable space to work and has been designed with a bridge in the middle to add a couple of stools. These stools can be used to have breakfast or just to make the work in the kitchen more comfortable. A whole wall of storage cabinets and built appliances have been located in front of the island. In the other side, wide windows open the kitchen to the garden.</span></i><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhg-0A4n7eXBkg31g85f5RfGRlbkv52v1kjz_wKYy5KhepnFqJIei__AmFHQJHvi90g4C3x95fcz9DjupfLriQJpxb95T4BPyLlEJ_gMUMR9nqivVjMfv26fFaWD8kdsOSguEYd8dQK07Ss/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%812.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhg-0A4n7eXBkg31g85f5RfGRlbkv52v1kjz_wKYy5KhepnFqJIei__AmFHQJHvi90g4C3x95fcz9DjupfLriQJpxb95T4BPyLlEJ_gMUMR9nqivVjMfv26fFaWD8kdsOSguEYd8dQK07Ss/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%812.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB-UYTHTjf_QUCoH3gzpZjJHYLuqsi1jGHW3aRDw7WBby27PyxeCJQK_GLsEtWLs6CKIWSkDV3tZG9_hk3tvDutD-W5e7ztdkSdloRdf6brJWJyP_hOTaBJG7y6jgtamDcHhF0_MaSXAKz/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%814.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiB-UYTHTjf_QUCoH3gzpZjJHYLuqsi1jGHW3aRDw7WBby27PyxeCJQK_GLsEtWLs6CKIWSkDV3tZG9_hk3tvDutD-W5e7ztdkSdloRdf6brJWJyP_hOTaBJG7y6jgtamDcHhF0_MaSXAKz/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%814.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxNl4_8Ob3q5LvfqO8eHmx3dYbY0bMjcLHGUC-fWvWVY4CSMdBpZG1A3qTgDcKrS-ZDoCZJTz4l4AWGHo4AGtglNfNUD9S4P9WR2RR37aSY5M3qID7a1EczBxuTqoX8syE8rtkOzDP807r/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%815.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxNl4_8Ob3q5LvfqO8eHmx3dYbY0bMjcLHGUC-fWvWVY4CSMdBpZG1A3qTgDcKrS-ZDoCZJTz4l4AWGHo4AGtglNfNUD9S4P9WR2RR37aSY5M3qID7a1EczBxuTqoX8syE8rtkOzDP807r/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%815.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin8E8EfXhU0Xa16BhF1ODj0_G_Dne64Ex48QIWKrd3wquN1dor9qMFmPSiWtlOygSGo0YNLEL5MSRKbN8FOa4DxprW7Am0KsrA2Pp6JERyEEjO6yPgYplmv_XYqUW_Fvx9LXkABvkdLNDr/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%816.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEin8E8EfXhU0Xa16BhF1ODj0_G_Dne64Ex48QIWKrd3wquN1dor9qMFmPSiWtlOygSGo0YNLEL5MSRKbN8FOa4DxprW7Am0KsrA2Pp6JERyEEjO6yPgYplmv_XYqUW_Fvx9LXkABvkdLNDr/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%816.jpg" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFSB_mN1cR2YETYhTOzv6qqeHXiZ1WNy0ozJI3RZT1-mk2uvrTGeGeIuh7LeZQLTtw3gQIPr2ji7i-GfxughgWsOAa0wvIhtpQzA9XTzkmMJKnldCi-8BonKe5ktwH5QlRBlaqM7X9DuXg/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%81.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFSB_mN1cR2YETYhTOzv6qqeHXiZ1WNy0ozJI3RZT1-mk2uvrTGeGeIuh7LeZQLTtw3gQIPr2ji7i-GfxughgWsOAa0wvIhtpQzA9XTzkmMJKnldCi-8BonKe5ktwH5QlRBlaqM7X9DuXg/s1600/Modern-white-kitchen-cocina-moderna-blanca-ft-ChicDeco%CC%81.jpg" /></a></div><br />

El mármol es sin duda un material muy de moda de gran belleza, versatilidad, resistencia y sofisticación y que nunca pasará de moda.</span><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #666666; text-align: left;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><b>EN |</b></span> </span><i>The ultimate material for kitchen bench tops and splashbacks is the beautiful and elegant white marble. The advantage marble has over other stones is that it is very durable and is easy to maintain when sealed. </i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #666666; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #666666; text-align: left;"><i>Marble comes in numerous finishes including gloss, hammered or honed finishes and it can be used for floors, walls, bench tops, tables, etc. Even though it can be an expressive material marble is timeless, versatile and elegant. It will also look great in any house of any style, from the most contemporary or sophisticated ones to the most classic or country homes.</i></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #666666; text-align: left;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; color: #666666; text-align: left;"><i>However, marble needs some extra care, here are a few things that you must take into account before making the marble decision for your kitchen:</i></div><ul style="color: #666666;"><li><i>Marble reacts on contact with any acid. This includes acids that are found in foods like tomato, fruit juice, vinegar, etc.</i></li><li><i>Household cleaners will only remove the polish of the marble bench top, so avoid using them for cleaning your marble bench top. </i></li><li><i>Hot or cold items can burn the marble bench top. </i></li><li><i>Alcoholic drinks or fruit juices can etch into the polish of the marble bench top.</i></li><li><i>Wet perfumed soaps or aerosol cans on the marble bench tops can create stains.  </i></li><li><i>Marble scratches easily so always use chopping boards when working on marble bench tops.</i></li></ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><i style="color: #666666;">At this point you might be thinking that marble is not suitable for your kitchen at all, as it requires a lot of extra care.
