ES | Una de las distribuciones más actuales para cocinas que he venido descubriendo poco a poco en revistas de decoración nacionales e internacionales son aquellas que contienen una isla central donde ubicar la zona de lavado y cocción, y utilizan la pared sólo para almacenaje o para abrir grandes ventanales al exterior. Esta distribución permite trabajar y charlar con otros miembros de la familia alrededor de la isla central sin tener que darles la espalda. Se acabó el cocinar de cara a la pared. La cocina que hoy traigo a mi blog, publicada recientemente en EL MUEBLE, es un bello ejemplo de esta genial distribución para las cocinas contemporáneas.
La cocina se dividió en dos ambientes, uno de trabajo y otro para comer en familia. La isla central permité trabajar alrededor de ella cómodamente, e incorpora un puente en el medio en él que situar dos taburetes. Estos pueden usarse para desayunos o simplemente para hacer el trabajo en la cocina más cómodo. Frente a la isla se incluyeron varias columnas de armarios para almacenaje o donde se empotraron también algunos electrodomésticos. Al otro lado de la isla grandes ventanales conectan el jardín con la cocina.

Wall are only used for storage cabinets, from the floor to the ceiling, or to locate wide windows and connect the indoor and outdoor space. This layout makes easier to work and talk to other family members at the same time without having to cook against the wall. This kitchen that today I'm bring to my blog, featured recently by EL MUEBLE magazine, is a beautiful example of this modern kitchen layout.
The kitchen was divided in two areas, one to work and the other one for family meals. The island in the middle is a comfortable space to work and has been designed with a bridge in the middle to add a couple of stools. These stools can be used to have breakfast or just to make the work in the kitchen more comfortable. A whole wall of storage cabinets and built appliances have been located in front of the island. In the other side, wide windows open the kitchen to the garden.
