ES | El título de la casa de la semana se lo ha ganado hoy este apartamento sencillo, cómodo y estimulante, proyectado por el
ESTUDIO DE INTERIORISMO DE MARCOS MELA. Su propietario quería crear un espacio cómodo y diáfano en el que se pudiera recibir cómodamente a amigos en casa, por lo que el salón fue el eje central del proyecto.
Se buscaba crear un espacio masculino y actual para un chico joven, por lo que se utilizó una paleta cromática de blancos en contraste con la fuerza de los grises. En su interior se dejaron a la vista la honestidad de la construcción: pilares y vigas de hormigón, paredes de ladrillo y solera de cemento pulido.
Como la vivienda no tenía una gran terraza se aprovechó el estrecho balcón que recorría la fachada sureste, para incluirse como zona habitable mediante una cristalera corredera de suelo a techo que se abre totalmente al cielo madrileño y así poder convertir el salón en un agradable y polivalente espacio al aire libre.
El principal reto fue hacer todo esto con un presupuesto muy ajustado a las posibilidades económicas del cliente. ¿Se consiguió un resultado elegante y sensacional pese a su ajustado presupuesto? Yo pienso que sí, ¿y a vosotros que os parece?

Today the house of the week is this simple but stunning apartment located in the heart of Madrid, Spain, and designed by MARCOS MELA's studio. Its owner wanted to create a comfortable open-plan living space with a lot of room for entertainment, and for that reason, the living area was the focal point of this project.
Its interior designer wanted to create a masculine and contemporary space for a guy, for that reason whites and different grey tones were used in this interior. Concrete pillars and rafters and open-brick walls show the honesty of its construction materials.
The apartment only had a small balcony that was added to the rest of the interior space. A big window from floor to ceiling shows Madrid skyline and brings light to the interior.
The main challenge was to do everything with a tight budget, so did this apartment get the stylish look desired in spite of its small budget? I think so, what do you think? |
